Off to the European elections on 9 June!!!

On Thursday, 7 March 2024, Maximilian Mordhorst, Member of the Bundestag (= German federal Parliament) for the FDP (= Free Democratic Party), visited us at the RBZ am Königsweg as part of this year's EU Project Day.

Two classes had the opportunity to ask questions in a political context, but also questions about personal values, the everyday life of a politician, etc.

Max Mordhorst was able to answer even tricky questions confidently and specifically, and he also gave us honest answers on more serious topics such as the war in Ukraine.

Right at the beginning, he made it clear that his visit to the EU Project Day was to be categorised as an event above party lines. The message was clear: Go to the European elections on 9 June 2024!

For us as pupils, the personal meeting with a politician helped us and strengthened our political understanding of current issues.
