Vivid insights into the play educational teaching activities of the practice-integrated training to become an educator
In learning field 4 in the field of education ‘play education’, the ‘FS 21 PiA’ senior class developed various works from a wide range of materials with differentiated focal points over a period of several weeks. Depending on the focus and intention, these can lead to children acquiring important skills.
At the same time, the children's educational processes could be accompanied and reflected on in class as part of the interlinking of theory and practice in an action-orientated manner at the trainees' facilities.
‘Our puppets and us’ - adventure in the world of animals
The hand puppets made from felt wool or by crocheting can be used in various educational areas and themed projects, providing children with comprehensive support in their holistic development.
‘On the wooden path’ - from a stack of wooden boards to a colourful range of games
With our many creative ideas, colour and enthusiasm, we designed board games and figurative games including self-developed game instructions as part of the lessons.
After the production process, these were extremely well received by the children in our facilities in various fields of work.
‘More than just a sock!"- how is a stick horse made?
Our simplified instructions are: ‘Stuff the sock with filling wool, put the stick into the sock and fix it with a ribbon’. You can then give free rein to further creative design; an alternative would be a horse's head sewn from fabric.
Stick horses can be used as an opportunity to create a project week and organise a final horse show, particularly in the elementary and primary school sectors.
