Wo der Weihnachtsmann wohnt…..(= Where Santa Claus lives)

This title of the famous children's book by Mauri Kunnas was the first thing that came to many people's minds when they met the four friendly colleagues from Finland at our school last week. The colleagues from SEDU are not from Lapland (...like Santa Claus) but from Sejanöki near Vaasa. After two intensive days of getting to know our school, the pupils, the teachers and the teaching content and practical work, the colleagues and team Europewere cer tain: It's a good match! Concrete plans are now being made to perhaps even give students from our care department the opportunity to get a taste of care work in Finland next spring.
